Stéphanie advises companies operating at the intersection of sanctions, export controls and compliance, ranging from fast-growing SMEs to the largest multinationals. Her practice builds on years of experience in international business at Rabobank, Philips and ING Bank in Singapore, where she gained in-depth knowledge of international banking and the complex aspects of export control and sanctions regulations in a global context.  

Her international profile and in-depth knowledge of compliance and its implementation enable her to accurately assess the impact of new sanctions and export control regulations on complex organisations. Her approachable and pragmatic style makes her a dedicated partner for clients seeking practical guidance on complex issues surrounding rapidly changing international trade legislation.  

Stéphanie is an active member and Chapter Lead for the Netherlands of the leading International Sanctions and Export Controls Society (ISECS). She publishes regularly in specialist journals and is an active speaker at conferences and seminars. She also lectures at the University of Amsterdam and VU Amsterdam.
