Eline is a specialist in the field of sanctions legislation, export controls and customs law. Her practice spans a wide range of issues relating to the import and export of goods, services and technology – from licensing procedures and customs matters to enforcement proceedings in the areas of sanctions and customs, in which she acts on behalf of her clients both in an advisory capacity and in court.
Eline is known for her astute and direct approach. Her broad interest in technology enables her to provide swift and targeted advice even on technically complex cases and to distil legal issues down to their essence. She always focuses on pragmatic and effective solutions.
Eline publishes regularly in leading trade journals on export control and sanctions legislation. She is a trainer at the EU Sanctions Helpdesk and speaks at universities and at national and international conferences.
