Diederik-Jan Posthuma

Diederik-Jan specialises in various areas of international trade law. He advises clients on sanctions risks relating to financial products and on the legality of cross-border transactions, drawing on his background in public international law.  

Before joining Agorax, Diederik-Jan gained experience at various financial institutions. This background in the financial sector enables him to approach legal issues with an eye for the practical and commercial context.  

Diederik-Jan obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law, specialising in international and European law, from Tilburg University. In 2019, he also completed his Master’s degree in International Law and Global Governance there.
